Will Lash extensions ruin my natural lashes?

The short answer is NO! however they do need to applied correctly and not too long. Aftercare is also important to look after the health of your natural lashes. The lash extensions should be applied with one on each individual lash and only a few millimeters longer than your lash. Cleaning your lashes daily with an approved eyelash cleanser will also help to keep your lashes healthy.

Whats the difference between Classics, Hybrids and Volume lash sets?

The most traditional form of eyelash extensions are Classic. We're talking a 1:1 ratio of one extension applied to one natural lash. This means we can only apply as many extensions as you have natural lashes. An extension cannot be placed where there isn't a natural lash! So, if you have sparse lashes and wish to fill out your lash line, classic eyelash extensions won't be the most suitable fit for you. You'll want to read on about Hybrid and Volume extensions.

Now let's say you have a lot of natural lashes. You want to add some length, have a defined curl, and that look of mascara without the hassle of using mascara. Then classic eyelash extensions are definitely going to be for you.

Volume eyelash extensions. This is where there are 2-6 very thin eyelash extensions made into a fan shape before applying to the natural eyelash. What happens when you when you apply these fans next to each other? You get a dense, fluffy set of lashes.
For those with sparse lashes, when these fans overlap they cover any gaps in the lash line and create an illusion of having more lashes than you actually have. With Volume eyelash extensions, you can still achieve the look of fuller, darker and longer looking lashes.

What will Volume eyelash extensions add for someone with a full lash line already? DRAMA. If Classic lashes don't quite do enough for you, Volume lashes most certainly will. We're adding anywhere from  120-600 lashes per eye!

Now, how can this possibly be safe for your natural eyelashes? It's the difference in the diameter of the extensions used. A typical Classic eyelash extensions is between 0.10mm and 0.20mm.  A typical Volume eyelash extension is between 0.03mm and 0.07mm. Using a thinner, lighter extensions allows for more extensions to be applied to a single lash. Of course, your natural lash length and thickness will determine exactly how big of a fan can be applied. The health and safety of your eyelashes is most important

So what if you want a little more coverage, but aren't ready for full Volume? The answer is Hybrid eyelash extensions. This is a blending of both the Classic and Volume eyelash extension techniques. Volume fans and Classic eyelash extensions are intermixed to create a fuller lash line.

If you feel like you have a good amount of lashes, but have a some gaps here and there, this mixed technique is perfect. Volume fans will fill in any gaps to create an even lash line. This gives a slightly fluffier appearance to the lashes than straight Classic eyelash extensions

How long does it take?

For a full set of lashes between 1-1.5 hours, Refills 45-60 minutes

How often should I get refills?

About every 3 weeks for refills. At around 2 to 3 weeks after your initial lash appointment, some of your natural lashes will have reached the end of their life cycles and shed. You will start seeing little gaps where the old ones have fallen, with new baby lashes coming through – at this point it’s a good time to get refills, so your lashes always look nice and full. Once a baby lash is mature and strong enough to hold an extension, we can apply a lash there

Can I still wear mascara?

Unless you want to ruin your lash extensions and make every lash tech on the planet angry then no you cannot and also do not need to wear mascara
